Chinese vehicles still occupying a certain space in the market and continues to be known by consumers

In 2022, MIRIM Consultant, commissioned by Toyota Sales Mongolia LLC, undertook a consumer survey focused on Chinese vehicles. Building on this initiative, the survey was re-conducted between August and October 2023, targeting Chinese passenger car consumers. The primary objective was to delve into aspects such as knowledge, understanding, attitude, experience, future preferences, and expectations among users of Chinese passenger cars and a total of 161 participants were involved.

Comparing the results of the 2023 survey with the previous year, the general satisfaction level of consumers has improved, and 78.3% of all survey participants are of the opinion that they will buy a Chinese car in the future and recommend the current Chinese car to others. In addition, 8% of the survey participants chose Chinese passenger cars as their first car, and this is due to the fact that Chinese cars occupy a certain space in the Mongolian market and are known to consumers.
