MIRIM Consultant LLC and IRIM, funded by Oyu Tolgoi LLC, have begun <\/span>collaborating to provide \u201cConsultancy Services for Local Business Development\u201d in <\/span>Umnugobi<\/span> Province and partner <\/span>soums<\/span> \u2013 <\/span>Khanbogd<\/span>, <\/span>Manlai<\/span> and Bayan-<\/span>Ovoo<\/span> from <\/span>2024 to 2026. <\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

The goal of this consultancy service is to support local communities and diversify <\/span>the economy of <\/span>Umnugobi<\/span> Province. The consulting services will focus on making <\/span>changes and progress in four key non-mining sectors: <\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

  1. Development of local SMEs and suppliers,<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n
  2. Supporting local herders\u2019 sustainable livelihoods and income generation, as <\/span>well as the development of local cooperatives,<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n
  3. Development and activation of local tourism,<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n
  4. Development of local agriculture and animal husbandry.<\/span>\u200b<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
