3<\/td>\n 12<\/td>\n \u201cElaboration of Business Plan and Marketing Strategies for Sheep Wool Building Insulation Producing SMEs\u201d<\/td>\n 2014<\/td>\n People in Need NGO (Clovek v Tisni) from the Czech Republic<\/td>\n Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan-Uul<\/td>\n People in Need initiated a program named, \u201cIntegrated Approach for Supply Chain Development Turning Sheep Wool into Environmentally Friendly Building Material\u201d in 2013 under the European Union\u2019s SWITCH-Asia program. PIN-SWITCH\u2019s long-term program framework focused on \u201cdeveloping sufficient know-how among SMEs, including cooperatives and community level entrepreneurs, to produce and market SWBI\u201d as well as raising awareness and technical know-how among pastoralists, architects, construction companies, policy makers and home owners. \nThe goals of the training were defined as such: \u201cto develop business plans and marketing strategies for producing SWBI with selected SMEs through intensive training and systematic coaching.\u201d \nThe following deliverables were divided into two phases: \nPhase I (July 14th \u2013 August 3rd)\n\u25cf\tDevelop training agenda and training content \n\u25cf\tTrain 20 SMEs on the elaboration of business plans and oversee the creation of 1st draft business plans \nPhase II (August 4th- August 13th)\n\u25cf\tParticipate in the selection of SMEs for further cooperation according to set criteria in close cooperation with the PIN-SWITCH team.\n\u25cf\tProvide individualized coaching for chosen SMEs to elaborate and refine their SWBI business plans and marketing strategies based on identified needs and market surveys; \n\u25cf\tApprove elaborated business proposals as suitable for approaching financial institutions.<\/td>\n Training<\/td>\n Manufacturing industry<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n
